Adding TEKTELIC Sensors to AWS IoT Core
AWS IoT Core
- Follow the instructions found at the following link for setting up the necessary roles and policies for your AWS IoT Core: https://knowledgehub.tektelic.com/basic-station-interface-for-aws-iot-core-for-lorawan. If this has already been done, see below for instructions for adding your TEKTELIC sensors to the AWS IoT Core.
- From the AWS IoT Core home page select "LPWAN devices" and then select "Devices" from the drop down menu.
- Select "Add Wireless Device"
- Under "Wireless Device Specification" select "OTAA v1.0.x"
- Enter the DevEUI, AppKey and AppEUI provided with your TEKTELIC sensor in the fields where they are requested.
- Add a name and description for the Wireless device if desired.
- Under "Profiles" select the "Device Profile" and "Service Profile" that were created for your sensor in the documentation linked in Step #1 above.
- Under "Destination Name", select the Destination created for your sensor in the documentation linked in Step #1 above.
- After clicking "Next" enter the Location information for the device under "Position Information" if desired.
- Select "Add Device" Your sensor has now been added to the AWS IoT Core Network Server.
