Adding TEKTELIC sensors onto Chirpstack
Note: This tutorial is for Chirpstack 4.
A sensor on Chirpstack requires two objects to be created:
- A Device Profile for your sensor.
- An Application to organize your sensors.
1. On the left navigation pane, select Device Profiles and create a profile for your device.
It should include the region, MAC version. You can also configure it to join via OTAA and or use Class B/C. TEKTELIC sensors use MAC versions 1.0.3 and 1.0.4.
2. On the left navigation pane, select Applications and create an application.
3. Once created, select your application and then you can add a device. Fill out the fields as needed.
- Note: The JoinEUI correlates to the AppEUI on TEKTELIC sensors.
- If your device is authenticating via OTAA, Chirpstack will prompt you to enter the AppKEY after the initial settings.
You have now added a device to Chirpstack LNS.
